I have used my engineering knowledge and experience to rejuvenate new idea for E&P technical organisation.

I am passionate, diligent and I will help resolve any problems that engineers may face on a day to day bases. Fellow Engineers and management have always been impressed by my eagerness to assimilate information and master tasks.

E&P Technical Officer:

To support the E&P organization and provide technical assistance to the maintenance staff and engineer. My duties also entail the following

Mentor Train: Retrieve, Analyze and populate information. Identify the non conformance and programmed into maintenance for further action.

Asset Condition Checks: Thoroughly examine substation buildings, structure and OLE. Record findings and action all defects. Risk asses defects and prioritize for action. Ensure all assets are compliant to Network Rail standards.

Technical Non Compliance: To risk assess the non compliant asset. Instigate a plan of action and to put the asset into service.

E&P Technical Form: To design and create various inspections forms for maintenance (Neutral section, OHL switch, height & stagger, bridge inspection form).

SCAT: Input data from OCB patrol sheet, dial in remotely to Kitz and Optimho unit to retrieve information.

Capture OLE Data: To input data (balance weight movements, Tension lengths, wire wear etc) on to OLE asset data base,

Protection Testing: Simulate earth fault by inducing a fault current into distance protection relay (optimho). Test over current relays (thermal) and DZ relays (mechanical relay)

Audit: To carry out internal audit on all seven depots.

AS7: Assimilate data from ellipse (outstanding MST and work arising defects) and populate figures on to AS7 spread sheet. Attend weekly conference call to discuss progress, short falls and feedbacks.

Low level planning: Identify outstanding MST, regroup and re-plan cyclic work.

General projects: to list and give detailed account of assets at the Siemens Train care depot, establish a plan of action and instigate a method of maintaining assets under maintenance. Take into account feasibility, cost (labour + equipment), spares, rapid response etc.
