Netconstruct Nigeria Limited (Mar 2005 - April 2006)

I was a Site engineer on the construction of SUNNY VALE HOMES, a 2200 unit mass housing scheme located at Dakwo District, Abuja, Nigeria. I was Involved in the Design, Resource allocation, Team building and Project Management. I was also involved in the day to day running of the project site, the supervision of the building of the individual housing units and solely monitored the construction of the over 5km perimeter fencing for the project using reinforced concrete with due consideration of time, quality and costs of the Project. Change design and management on some housing units on the project to suit the taste and desire of the buyer. I was in charge of liaison with contractors on roofing, windows, water treatment plant and water supply on the project. (The project was valued at about ₤2 million)

My duties included Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) on the construction of the Head office of Magnum Trust Bank (now Skye bank) in Lagos, Nigeria using CQsuite®, a construction project quality management software developed by Dominite Consult. Daily supervision of the quality of works carried out by the contractors, liaison with the different contractors on site on the progress of the project, client's representatives on site and preparation of detailed weekly progress reports and analysis of risks and prevention of risks that could affect the quality, increase cost or lead to time over run on the project.
