Based at the SBM Group head office in Monaco working as the SBM Monaco QA Dept Manager. Managed two sections: Project QA/HSE Engineering; Group Management System. In charge 14 employees.

Kashagan Flash Gas Compression Barges Project

Initially based at the Project Management offices in Holland, then seconded for one year to the fabrication site in Dubai during the construction phase. Deputised both Project Manager and Construction Manager in their absence. Leader of the Project contracts team consisting of five contracts/QS engineers. Overall responsible for project financial management and administration of the client and subcontractor contracts both of which were large multimillion dollar contracts.

Position was initially Monaco based with secondments to Singapore during the refurbishment / conversion, then six months in Brazil for the importation and first oil. Responsibilities: Project Engineer; Contract Management; Brazilian Liaison; Regulatory Compliance.

Jan 02 - Jan 03 Project Development Engineer

Proposals & Estimating Department

Lead engineer for FPSO and single point mooring systems proposals. This position was Monaco based with periodic visits offshore and to potential subcontractor yards. Responsibilities: Proposals and FEED studies; Execution strategies; Project schedule (WBS, critical path); CAPEX estimates; Shipyard and module contract and price negotiations.
