WORK EXPERIENCE HISTORY
Over the last 13 years I have gained valuable experience and skills whilst being employed in a wide variety of industries from Ship building, Nuclear, Pharmaceutical, general construction and the Oil & Gas sectors both in the UK and overseas
During this period I have been employed in different positions ranging from Electrical Technician, Electrical Supervisor, Foreman, Commissioning Technician, Shutdown Co-ordinator and Construction Engineer in the above mentioned industries.
OIL & GAS SECTOR EXPERIENCE
For the past 6 year I have been employed in the Oil & Gas sector both in the UK and overseas.
However, for the last three year I have been based onshore in Aberdeen employed by a leading Oil & Gas sector contracting company (KBR/PSN). Initial Duties were purely
E & I Construction Engineer, however also successfully completed 2 x annual shutdowns in my roll as Shutdown co-ordinator. And now my current position of Construction Focal Point for Murdoch Platform in the Southern North Sea.

PROJECTS AND EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
CURRENT PROJECT
JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (MURDOCH PLATFORM FOCAL POINT)
SHUTDOWN CO-ORDINATOR.
EMPLOYER: PRODUCTION SERVICES NETWORK (PSN).
CLIENT: CONOCOPHILLIPS:
START DATE: JANUARY 2004.
END DATE: CURRENT PROJECT.
My responsibilities are to ensure that all scheduled Workpack delivery dates for Project and Shutdown works are met, by working closely with the relevant Engineering Teams and expediting the supply of deliverables. My principle responsibilities are to promote a safety culture, ensuring that all KPI's are met and all offshore construction projects and shutdown workscopes are completed safely and on schedule.
Duties include:
- Attending project and shutdown kick-off meetings/constructability reviews/Hazids/change screens etc on behalf of the Construction Team and provide input as applicable.
- Attending project and shutdown wash up meetings/lessons learned and PSN/Conocophillips workshops.
- Compiling job cards and work packs and scheduling of the work scope and ensure that the Engineering Team meet their deliverable commitments.
- Attending weekly PSN/Conocophillips progress and planning meetings for projects and shutdown workscopes.
- Liaison with the onshore & offshore Construction Teams to solve any day to day issues.
- Liaison with the construction sub contractors and third parties on a regularly basis to ensure that implementation delivery dates are maintained and the completion dates are achieved as per the project schedule and to resolve the daily problems associated with the works.
- Produce close out work packs and redline drawings for as building.
- Drawing up material requisitions identifying various items that are required for the works and day to day construction activities.
- Liaise with the shipping/handling agents to ensure the timely delivery of construction and shutdown materials/equipment.
- Liaise with PSN, vendors and third parties HR teams to ensure that the required construction/commissioning personnel are available for projects and shutdown workscopes.
- Management of offshore manpower to support construction activities.
JOB TITLE: CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN / CHARGEHAND.
EMPLOYER: KELLOGG BROWN AND ROOT (KBR).
CLIENT: CHEVRON TEXACO:
START DATE: DECEMBER 2002.
END DATE: DECEMBER 2003.
My responsibilities were to ensure that all project work scopes were carried out in a safely and on schedule. Working closely with the onshore engineering and commissioning groups.
Duties included:
ˇ Holding daily tool box talks prior to the commencement of any workscopes.
ˇ Chairing weekly KBR safety meetings.
ˇ Liaise with the platform safety, maintenance and production departments on a daily basis to identify ongoing and future workscopes to ensure that these activities can be carried out in a safe and timely manner with out conflicting with other platform activities.
ˇ Attending daily conference calls with the KBR onshore engineering group to identify and resolve any areas of concern.
ˇ Attending daily OIM and platform progress meetings.
ˇ To delegate workscopes to the relevant trades, vendors, third parties and commissioning teams.
ˇ To ensure all work packs have been reviewed and closed out/completion signatures have been collated.
JOB TITLE: ELECTRICAL / COMMISSIONING TECHNICIAN
EMPLOYER: KELLOGG BROWN AND ROOT (KBR).

START DATE: MAY 2001.
END DATE: DECEMBER 2002.
Duties included:
ˇ General Electrical Installations.
ˇ Modifications & Panel Wiring.
ˇ Verifying Logic of Fire & Gas & Control Systems.
ˇ General Testing of all Electrical Systems.
ˇ Commissioning & Start up of Motors & Switchgear.
ˇ Preparing work packs for close out.
