Senior Instrument Engineer - Venture Kittiwake

GKA Export Pipeline - Responsibilities where for overall instrument design for installation of the topsides modifications required to install the pipeline to the BP Unity Platform. This included the design and purchase of a new Yokogawa Prosafe ESD system cabinet, modifications to the existing Tyco Fire & Gas & ESD System, Control Valves, Shutdown Valves and Field Instrumentation including an upgrade to the existing Fiscal Metering Skid. I also involved in the design and purchase of a new Invensys Foxboro DCS system cabinet and a Bently Nevada Condition Monitoring Panel.

Instrument Engineer - Marathon

Brae Bravo Low Pressure Operations - My Project deliverables included the design, purchase and commissioning of modifications to hard wired ICS ESD system & Modicon PLC control system, single stream fuel gas fiscal metering stream c/w metersuite virtual flowcomputer within a new Honeywell C200 panel, control valves and field instrumentation.

Instrument Engineer - ConocoPhillips Major Capex

Saturn Greenfield Satellite Platform - I was part of first gas/commissioning team based on the LOGGS platform carrying out pre-commissioning instrument checks and ESD/F&G commissioning tests.

Hunter Subsea Completion - I was responsible for the design, purchase and commissioning of a Topsides Fiscal Venturi Gas Meter, existing Topsides Solartron flowcomputer re-configuration, new Solartron Subsea flowcomputer and a ClampOn Erosion monitoring system. I also provided support to the ConocoPhillips Telecoms / Systems group for control and Microwave LOS changes.

Munro Greenfield Satellite Platform - Provided Instrument Engineering support to the ConocoPhillips Systems/Telecoms team.

Annabel Subsea Completion - Project Responsibilities included the design and purchase of Field Instrumentation and an Ultrasonic sand detection system and providing systems support to the ConocoPhillips systems/telecoms teams.

CMS Suction Pressure Reduction - Review of existing equipment & Systems for suitability to new process conditions, and supplying new equipment as required.

Instrument Engineer - ConocoPhillips ISC

Worked on various projects giving Instrument Engineering support including, field instrumentation, DCS systems, Fire & Gas Systems and Fire protection systems.

I was also involved in various offshore commissioning activities including DCS Systems, Fire and Gas Systems and a live upgrade to an obsolete metering system.
