The function of my team throughout that time was to manage Metronet Rail's responsibilities under health and safety legislation. In particular the job focussed on the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and the Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM). I was employed as a Works Safety Co-ordinator and as a Night Access Planner, performing the two roles under a roster system. The duties of a Works Safety Co-ordinator include the on-site management of the health and safety interfaces between different contractors at work in the same station. The duties of a Night Access Planner include the advance planning of contractors access to stations using a bespoke database.

systems.

- Initiate, complete and present documentation to the MOD in the form of a

Handover completion certificate.

- Supervision of Test Technicians and the control of all test documentation

produced by them.
