Technical Experience

▪ Planned and executed rotary steerable (PowerDrive) jobs on land in the United States.

▪ Maersk, Doha Qatar. Wrote bridging document to align the Schlumberger anti-collision procedures with the Maersk anti-collision procedures for drilling top-hole sections. The document handles uncertainty ellipses, separation factors and safe well separation.

▪ Key Performance Indicators for Directional Drilling Services. Reviewed existing KPIs and procedures for tracking performance currently used in the industry. Defined a set of KPIs in a ready-made template with instructions and implemented the procedure in Middle East and Asia for Schlumberger drilling services.

▪ Zhao Dong field, Apache China. Re-planning of the entire field, including rig and wellbore positioning due to close proximity limitations. Completed a drilling engineering study with recommendations for the drilling operation.

▪ Maxus, Indonesia. Review a drilling optimization study based on 80 wells in several fields. After completing the study, the results with recommendations were presented to determine further necessary actions.

▪ DESC engineer in ExxonMobils office in Kerteh Malaysia. 3-month project for drilling optimization and technical support during the well planning stage and geo-steering project.

▪ Drilling engineering and software training for drilling engineers and directional drillers in Middle East and Asia. Organized and presented at the 3-day school using real data sets, comparing data to analysis output and discussing the limitations of software models and correct use of the software. The course was a part of a process to enhance knowledge amongst field engineers.

▪ Drilling Office Implementation in BG's offices and rigs worldwide. Managed and coordinated the drilling side of the software implementation including software installations onshore and offshore, training and support during this phase.

▪ Pilot Project for Drilling Office in NAM's office in Assen, The Netherlands. Managed and coordinated the project including software installation on server, software testing, training and support. The project lasted for 5 months and resulted in NAM purchasing 20 licenses of the Drilling Office software suite.

▪ Technical input on tenders for clients in Europe and Asia.

▪ Wrote the initial procedures on well design and survey management for Schlumberger Scandinavia.
