Full financial control of budgets for manpower,equipment and outside contractors in excess of US50 million.Scope of the operations consist of approximately 40 production gathering and pipeline platforms both in inland waterways and offshore, over 700 wells (1000 wellstreams) typically clustered on caisson type-well jackets, 2 offshore floating storage vessels, a central tank farm with 3 MMBO storage capacity in 12 tanks and all associated pipelines, gathering and export lines. Much of this equipment has been in service for over 40 years. Line responsibility for >20 engineers / technicians.

Previous to October 2000 seconded from BureauVeritas to Brunei Shell Petroleum as Plant Inspection Engineer responsible for coordination and supervision Offshore of a team of 50 inspectors and 12 draughtsmen involved in the as built drawing of piping isometrics and the visual, ultrasonic and radiographic Risk Based inspection of the pipework in order to identify below design anomalies caused by internal/external corrosion, utilising CIRRAS/PACER computerised analysis.Responsible for publishing of findings and recommendations based on ANSI/ASME B31.3. Responsible for follow up repairs carried out by workboat construction crews.
Acted as BSP Focal point for workscope preparation for Major Shutdowns and Coordinated execution of shutdown workscopes.
Total offshore structures involved 247 including Production,Compression,Gas,Drilling and Accomodation platforms.

a) Preparing above ground piping by centrifugal wheelabrator and transporting to site. Recording joint numbers and material grades for QA purposes by computerised reporting.
b) Installation, commissioning and handing over of a 64 well deep groundbed CP for all below ground piping and module skids.
c) Responsible for Perlite ore insulation of void spaces in two double skin gas tanks.
Responsible for daily coordination of above projects and auditing and preparing inspection packages submitted by 40 inspectors to acceptance standards for clients QA. Reported to Project Manager.

Seconded to Occidental Oil Company Libya as QC Engineer on a major maintainance painting and insulation contract on the oil and gas terminal plus tank farm and offshore loading facilities.
