PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

1.Floating ball control system (Post graduate)

A ball placed in a cylindrical channel floats with the help of air pressure from a blower. The height is continuously measured by an ultrasonic sensor SRF04 which is programmed using PIC C and the results are displayed on a hyperterminal. MOSFET is used for applying necessary voltage to the blower. The resolution of the system is 0.5 cm and the sampling period is 311.2 mSec.

2. Programmable Multichannel Switching and Control System using micro controller (8951)

Group members 5

Microcontroller 8951 was used to select one of the four channels with the help of the security code. One channel was used as a motor speed controller. The code was displayed on the seven segment display and buzzer was used as an indicator for a wrong data entry.

Motor speed control had 22 lines of code. Program for switching purpose had 105 lines of code.
