Aug 05 - Present Structural Designer- Merpro Ltd., Montrose

▪ Contracted to create structural models & prepare detailed drawings of process skids, platforms, stairs, ladders, grating & handrailing using AutoCAD and AutoPLANT 3D.

▪ Helped restructure and streamline the company's draughting practices through writing a CAD procedure and by creating a library of standard blocks and drawing templates.

▪ Other responsibilities include: checking drawings, maintaining drawing registers and liasing with the "shop floor" to resolve any issues with fabrication.
