design department on Project Resolution at BP's Kinneil site, producing design drawings for steel structures throughout the site, including foundation and reinforcement details using Autocad.

BAE Systems (Marine) Working in the ventilation section of the design & drawing department of the prime contractors office. 3D modelling of systems throughout the ship and producing output drawings for onsite installation. All using the companies CADDS 5 computer system.

Forthwright Fabrication Produced piping and steelwork drawings for various clients including BP and Consafe (Aberdeen). Followed projects from site visit & validation to installation on site.

LGE Process Engaged in the mechanical drawing office. To produce piping isometric drawings, Tank Internal arrangements, Pipe Support arrangements and various pressure vessel detail drawings on numerous projects for LPG cargo ships. System used Autocad 2000.

BAE Systems (Marine) Working in the Ventilation Section on the Brunei & LPD Projects using CADDS 5 system.

UIE Engaged in drawing office temporary works Department. Produced drawings on Autocad 13 for the lifting of topside modules for the Bluewater FSPO. Field engineer on Bluoholm FPU.

BRDL Engaged in the constructive Section of the drawing office to produce A & A drawings for the Royal Navy T42 Destroyers and Minesweepers. Duties included "on site" validation and post refit tests & trials. Systems used CADDS 4 & Autocad R13.

Anderson Group Engaged in the drawing office to produce and modify electrical and mechanical schematics and details of mining machinery on the company's Computervision CADDS 4 system.

Babcock Thorn Ltd Engaged in the "as fitted" section of the drawing office to modify piping and arrangement drawings for the Royal Navy T42 destroyers. Transferred to Nuclear drawing office to produce A & A drawings for nuclear submarines. Involved in the de- commisioning of the nuclear submarines including on site measurement and production of blanking details. Security cleared to work in ships Reactor Compartment.

James Howden Ltd responsible to the Systems Designs manager for the production of all electrical drawings for the Storebaelt, Palermo & Genoa projects tunnel boring machines. These drawings included control, power and lighting cable schematics.

Highland Fabricators Responsible for detailing of steelwork drawings for deck framing including beam end connections and piece marking.

UNISYS Engaged as a member of the design & development team in the CAD section of the drawing office using computervision CADDS 4. Responsibilities included design and production of detail and assembly drawings of components for high-speed document processors. Three dimensional models, plastic moulding and precision mechanical components were produced in liaison with the design engineering department.

Telemeter Eng Ltd Liasing with VSEL with regard to the design and detailing of pipe and ventilation hangers for the Batch 1 Trident submarine.

Inertia Tech & Eng Produced, with minimal guidance and supervision, the design and detail drawings for air handling units and associated ductwork used in the food processing industry.

Yarrow Shipbuilding Ltd Following a four year draughtsman apprenticeship worked in steel work and arrangement section of the hull drawing office.
