Summary of Experience:
A progressive career has established a well developed and qualified working knowledge of pipe work engineering in the UK and within the Petrochemical, Oil, Gas, Nuclear and Marine Construction Industries. I am fully conversant with all aspects of fabrication and installation. More recently I have been concentrating on Pre-engineering/Engineering, Pre-Planning and Commissioning. Working to project milestones/programmed dates, productivity levels, familiar with all aspects of quality documentation and maintaining a high quality of build workmanship to client, Contract International Code Requirements. Very highly motivated, diligent and ambitious with the ability to integrate easily in any site or office environment.
Working Duties and Abilities:
· Part of the Babcock core site maintenance team at B.P. Oils Grangemouth.
· Computer Literate, Windows XP + Vista, Excel, Word, Power Point, Spreadsheets and PICS.
· Site surveying.
· Draughting Pipe Systems and Isometrics complete with Material Take Off.
· Liaise with Client, Site staff, Engineers for Pre-planning/Engineering Meetings.
· Job pricing for Project work inclusive of Steelwork, Pipe work, Painting, Scaffolding and Fireproofing.
· Generating scopes of work.
· Preparation of job method statements and risk assessments.
· Working to plans achieving milestones and meeting deadlines.
· Responsible for Area's 1 and 3 on the Grangemouth FCCU refurbishment. *
· Responsible for small Projects within the Grangemouth complex these include The Mercury Theaters, Ammonia Mitigation and also C3's to K.G. *

Duties include pre-engineering of work's, data inputting to PICS and compiling of work packs. This includes job method statements, bill of materials, isometrics, pipe & valve specs also the marking up of P&ID's and plot plans.
Cockenzie Power Station: Mech Supervisorfrom 14/06/07 until 02/09/07
As I have worked at Cockenzie Power Station previously, I had been called back to do the same jobs as before the only difference is this time it was on 3 out of 4 units. A lot of the work involved Removal & Replacement of valves and pipework. As I had been brought in only 1 week before the shut down Most of the Engineering had to be done on the run.
Grangemouth G4 T.A.R: Pre-Planning/Engineeringfrom 28/09/06 to 14/06/07
Duties include pre-engineering of work's, data inputting to PICS and compiling of work packs, also the validation of the work packs of others. This includes job method statements, bill of materials, isometrics, pipe & valve specs also the marking up of P&ID's and plot plans.
Cockenzie Power Station: Mech Supervisorfrom 11/05/06 until 28/09/06.
I have an excellent knowledge of Coal Stations. I was involved in jobs such as removal and replacement of burners and associated pipe work. Platten removal and replacement. Design and fabrication of pipe work for P&Q Valves. Lots more besides what has been mentioned.
G/mouth Project Resolution: Piping Supervisorfrom 12/01/06 until 11/05/06.
This was a new build job. My area was the Caustic Storage area which included Bunds, Racks, Pumps, Tanks and associated pipe work. I was responsible for the punch out of systems, hydro testing and inspection of new pipe work and associated equipment.

Gained experience in compiling of work packs risk assessments - method statements. Meetings with the client for pre planning of jobs, putting work out for tender and receiving quotes. Overseeing of contractors and co-ordination of work on site between sub-contractors & primary- contractor. Site surveying, Draughting pipe systems and Isometrics complete with M.T.O.

At Finnart my duties included Hydro-testing of underground pipe work to prove integrity, compiling Hydro-testing work packs. Sketching of pipe work and systems.
