I have more than 15 years experience in corporate design, print processes, editorial design and marketing design. I have worked for clients including BT, Essex County Council, Gateway Publishing and a range of automotive manufacturers, including Ford, Jaguar and Rover.

I am advanced in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and Indesign with strong illustration, layout and concept skills. I spent 10 years in research and development for print and 5 years as a Graphic Designer. I have a HND in Graphic Design and have worked for small and large media and marketing departments working on projects for different business sectors, including education, care in the community, environment services and internal communications.

I have excellent process improvements skills and have experience of working for an IS0 9001 accredited company. I have developed and implemented new products and processes, such as creating and promoting a quarterly magazine with an initial circulation of 1500 and growing to 5000 within the first year. I was subsequently shortlisted as one of 7 finalists from across the UK for Best Publication in the Chartered Institute of Public Relation Excellence in Communications Awards 2005.

My responsibilities included taking design projects from concept through to print for corporate advertising campaigns, marketing literature, adverts and publications. This involved working directly with clients to provide dynamic design solutions to corporate guidelines. I was also the creator and editor of a quarterly Essex County Council magazine for a three-year period, starting in my previous role with ECC. My role 
included all responsibilities as editor and designer of the magazine, including managing the editorial team and giving presentations to contributors and clients.
