| I have completed 12+ years in Telecommunications as a systems operator within the Army’s Royal Signals. Since completing a course with Cable Telecommunications Training Services (CTTS) in Lincoln I have been working with a local company installing Cat 5e/6 and MM fibre into various locations. I am qualified in installing, testing and commissioning optical fibre / air blown fibre / copper cable / SDH and PONs, along with knowledge of DWDM & PDH . Combined with my previous comms background I have gained a lot of underpinning knowledge about the industry and how it works along with the relevant standards required. I have developed security vetting (DV). |
