Based around the principles of a strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats analysis and strategic planning, we help SME business owners develop a strategic plan for their business. We then work with the owner and his/her business to identify and implement specific strategies to move the business forward.

Recent clients have been drawn from a number of different sectors including financial services, mortgage brokers, accountants, IT support, retail and construction.

Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, EU

Project consultant and manager to implement a large finance system for Pfizer Pharmaceutical’s. The scope extended to six manufacturing sites and related administration functions. Implementing SunSystems interfaced to other third party and legacy software to provide full ledger, purchasing, sales, inventory, fixed asset and project management functionality. My involvement started from the initial scope meetings, through a series of agreed milestones and “go live” dates to ongoing support.

Specific responsibilities included;
• Development of the project budget and plan, its review and cost control.
• Client liaison and progress reporting at all levels.
• Recruitment and management of the implementing team.
• Business mapping and system design with particular responsibility for capital spend, project accounting and fixed assets.
• Specified, developed, tested and deployed interfaces to legacy systems.
• Responsible for the migration and reconciliation of over 150k capital records, projects and fixed assets.
• Production of a complete management reporting suite.
• Developed and ran user acceptance testing programme.
• User training, documentation and ongoing support.
• Pre-audit system security reviews.
• Documentation and compliance testing for Sarbanes Oxley, GMP audits.
• System upgrades, testing and implementations.
