CV

I am an honest hard working individual who can work as part of a team or on my own initiative as and when required.I have been involved in design since the late 90's and have always found great satisfaction in creating artwork that provokes thought and reaction.

I have worked full time for two companies, the first being Newsquest Media and the second being Integra Office Solutions. My role with Newsquest was as an Advertisement Designer for many newspapers in the south west such as the 'South Wales Argus', 'Stroud News & Journal' and the 'Western Telegraph'. After a year with Newsquest I was awarded with promotion to the Motors design team which concentrated on more high profile clients which were car dealerships.

In 2001 I began employment as a graphic designer, working on catalogues, brochures, corporate ID, Direct Mail, web banners, Exhibition stands. In July 2006 I was appointed 'Senior Creative Designer' overseeing a design team of 6. This role was mainly to produce creative visuals, promotional material and communicating briefs as well as proofing projects to check tha my high standards have been followed.

Recently I have reduced my hours to 3 days a week, Tuesday to Thursday, so I can pursue my freelance projects on my days off and in my spare time. From my freelance work I have also developed my knowledge from print into web design and often involved in a variety of forms of web promotion.
