CV
| I am an experienced communication, marketing and public relations professional that has over the past 10 years, developed and honed my general management and business development skills in my role as a senior director for ENCAMS and then through setting up my own consultancy in 2007. Bolstered by an MBA from Henley Management College in 2001, I have undertaken some key projects, which have included advising clients on media and communications strategy; setting up and developing a successful and influential regional office in the SW of England for ENCAMS; and undertaking a key piece of research which was published and launched at the House of Commons in December 2005 Graduating from Bournemouth University in 1984 with a degree in English and Media, I have had a variety of PR and Marketing roles spanning several fields, which have included airports, the entertainment industry, local government, mental health and the for the last 11 years, the environment. Whilst working in communications and PR, I have focused on media relations, communications strategies during times of organisational change and communicating with hard to reach audiences. This was further refined when I joined The Tidy Britain Group (Now Environmental Campaigns - ENCAMS), when I devised and implemented campaigns and communication strategies targeting segments of the British population, with notable success in the youth market, targeting 13-16 year olds in Manchester with a cinema and bus back advertising campaign. |
