Project Name : Call Centre Retention (Specsavers Retail Systems, UK)
Details: Its aim was to design extension to the existing call centre application (with limited capabilities) built using the E.piphany CRM and API.

The call centre application is a distributed application in its architecture. The application continually communicates with various other applications viz. Socrates (Specsaver Stores) and Plato (central application) distributed across UK, Netherlands, Ireland and Denmark. My role was to collect business requirements, design and develop the solutions using E.piphany CRM and Spring framework.

The project development methodologies chosen was Extreme Programming, therefore, I actively participated in all XP practices including, business documentation, story creation, story huddles, end-of-iteration reviews, project tracking and allocation of resources.

Project Name: eCases (ExpertDoc B.V., The Netherlands)
Details: eCases is a healthcare based Web application with the general physicians at The Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy, being the target users. It is a Java-based application that makes use of LiverDoc SOAP API over a secured connection. I was responsible for carrying out complete software cycle involving requirement gathering, review, and deployment Also, I was responsible for making decisions related to deployment environment and complete documentation followed by demo and presentations about the deliverables and their utility. The eCases application made use of an MVC architecture pattern for its implementation.

Work Location: ExpertDoc B.V., Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Bangalore, India.

Environment: J2EE (Servlets), XML, XSD, SOAP over SSL, Apache Tomcat, Eclipse

Duration: 5 months

Roles and Responsibilities: Carrying out the entire lifecycle. I was involved in design, complete coding, testing and documentation. I developed this project using Java and made use of SOAP for message exchange between the client and server.



Project Name: Prototypes v1.0 (ExpertDoc B.V., The Netherlands)
Details : Developed prototype for a proposed project by the client for expanding their own services. My role was to analyze the high-level requirements and proposing best-fit user interface and set of functionalities for the product. This project mainly required my interaction with senior management at the client and their user-base in addition to the development of prototype The form of interaction was typically user group interviews and conferences. The target users are the general physicians that use the Promedico EHCR (Electronic Healthcare Record) software. Promedico EHCR is the most popular EHCR in The Netherlands.

Roles and Responsibilities: Developing the prototype (Web-based) using DHTML, Javascript(DOM) and stylesheets, as a result of interaction with target users and client. The project involved heavy and very effective use of DOM as interface was pretty dynamic and browser-centric.

Details: Proposing useful features reviewing and considering the limitations, technical architecture and timeline. Developing test scenarios, test cases, bug reports, and Writing development related documentation . In addition, I worked as a developer for implementing new features using Cordys SOA framework, XML, SOAP, XForms, and Core Java. The features were primarily related to Implementation of new BPMs( Business Process Models) using Flow Engine of Cordys The LiverDoc is developed by Cordys to enable LiverDoc's medical consultants to cater to the medical advice needs of the general practitioners at Europe.

Result of this analysis helped the organization implement organization-wide Product Engineering Process (PEP)
Developing Web-hosting solutions for the domains sold across the globe, by the organization making use of technologies like Java, Servlets, and JSP using the Anacreon Application Framework. Developing end-to-end solutions for the domain-registrars and sub-resellers at every level of OrderBox (http://www.logicboxes.com.) (OrderBox is a, one of its kind, Web-based product, developed for ICANN-accredited registrars, their multilevel chains of resellers, and their customers.) My role was developing new features, fixing bugs, and providing support.
Working on implementation of c-jdbc (clustered JDBC from ObjectWeb) and SEQUIOA (www.continuent.org) for enabling the real-time replication of the PostgreSQL database I need to achieve concurrency in the database at middle layer (Java layer), analyzing all the major concurrency-related issues and performance gain to achieve failure-safety as well as performance optimization for the Orderbox database.
