Voluntary Work/Work Abroad

From September 2004 until March 2005 I volunteered overseas with Teaching and Projects Abroad, a voluntary organisation. Volunteering in Mexico and Peru I experienced life in different cultures, learnt to speak Spanish and helped people in an orphanage and a primary school. Living with local people allowed me to learn about traditions and how to be independent.
In June 2007 I went to China, to teach English and live with a local family for one month.
