CV

Over 8 years experience in IT Security in both a technical consulting and managerial capacity. Highly proficient and flexible across a wide range of vendor solutions including Check Point, Nokia, Juniper, Blue Coat, RSA, Fortinet, McAfee and PGP covering all areas of an effective multi-layer security solution e.g. Firewalls, IPSEC and SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, Content Filtering, Email Encryption, Vulnerability Management, End Point Security etc.
Adoption of new/unfamiliar vendor solutions and technology are no issue as I know that an effective security solution is not necessarilly about WHAT is deployed as a countermeasure, more HOW tools are designed and integrated, supported and managed to implement YOUR security policy, As such I am very capable of picking up and quickly learning how to achieve this with technology that I may previously have had no experience of.
