•Management of 14 technical consultants and engineers across 3 teams:
-Technical and Professional development of staff.
-Performance management.
-Escalation and Issue resolution.
-Standards and process definition.
-Recruitment of staff to raise performance of service provision.
•Working with Solutions practice per technology/service vertical to drive and ensure capability, capacity and superior performance of consultancy/support teams to exceed customer expectations of Dimension Data services including:
-Input and influence with pre-sales engagements and response to RFP’s to ensure the integrity of a solution regards technical suitability, security of solution and project scope.
•Definition and implementation of policy, process and procedures intra-team and inter-team with other Dimension Data teams and departments:
-Proactive influence and definition of new services.
-Proactive definition and influence of security practices to be adopted by Dimension Data business functions and the partners we work with.
•Project lead/management of complex security projects.
•Technical delivery of multiple network security solutions.
•Training of staff within team and in other business units in Security technologies and best practices to increase security awareness and capability to deliver secure solutions to customers.

Senior technical consultancy role.

•Design and implementation pre/post sales consultancy of scalable and resilient security solutions utilising a broad spectrum of best of breed security tools and services for a wide ranging customer base including major global organisations and FTSE 100 UK customers.
•Network risk analysis and troubleshooting beyond the scope of “product” installation.
•Worked in an on-site customer facing capacity across UK/Europe and globally.
•Influence and definition of Vistorm managed services and support functions.
•Mentor for junior engineers / consultants.
