CV

I have worked at senior management level now for over six years providing support and leadership to staff I have managed and to my peers at the highest level.

Previous posts I have held offered me the opportunity to gain wide ranging skills and experience with line management responsibility for teams I was directly involved in, and also for those teams I was responsible for when acting as Project Manager of key specific pieces of work and as a Senior On Call Manager for the Trust.

As Divisional Manager for Medicine at City Hospital, I led on all issues directly related to the management of capacity, but also provided operational and business support to the Medical Assessment Unit and A&E Department.

This role includes responsibility for those areas to run efficiently and effectively on a day to day basis, achieved by working alongside the medical and nursing leads, but also to have the ability to influence when and where necessary with regard to future service strategy and planning. I have responsibility for budget management, performance targets, i.e., delayed discharges, delivery of the 98% A&E 4-hour target, recruitment and retention, as well as all matters directly related to staff performance including PDRs, sickness absence reporting and standard setting.
