o Raised awareness of Project through organised meetings, seminars and conferences

Quantitative Research
o Liaised with Health, Housing, Social Services and the voluntary sector to collate, analyse and
o interpret local government housing statistical data as supporting evidence for Strategy’s arguments

Qualitative Research
o Organised and conducted small focus group interviews with a range of service users concerning health, social and welfare issues ‘off site’
o Live debates and group discussions by staff and users alike from Strategy-organised forums and events were recorded and excerpts included in Strategy report
o Organised and co-ordinated Consultation meetings within the City in the first year then the Borough in the second on tackling homelessness issues with staff representatives from over 20 voluntary and statutory led organisations

Report Writing
o Monthly progress report updates to Strategy ‘Steering Group’
o Mini reports interpreting complex data from external sources into a user-friendly format to inform Managers/Staff
o Contributed to final report for the Nottingham Homelessness Strategy of 2001 to be implemented by Nottingham City Council in association with voluntary sector groups

Achievements:
o Organised the launch of the Homelessness Strategy for over 200 attendees
o Events Organisation: Successfully lead the Logistics Group in organising a large, all-day, outdoor ‘SpeakOut’ event incorporating live music, arts and groupwork for 200 homeless people in Nottingham City
