CV
| Since attaining a 2:1 in Video Production Film and Media studies at a degree level, I have developed very good communication skills from delivering several group presentations in seminars where I have been asked conduct a deep critical analysis on a film. My level of directing and camera skills has developed over the years through challenging university assignments. Writing skills have improved to a high level due to writing numerous short films and TV drama series. I have been very successful throughout my course where I have been required to participate in groups, receive and offer ideas. I written several poems since, but really my niche was in scriptwriting. By the end of the module, I made a decision write a Feature Length Screenplay for my dissertation, which took my 9 months to write and 3 months to research. Through blood, sweat and tears, I am happy to say I achieved a 2:1 for my dissertation. Now I am pursuing a career as a Writer, I am currently writing 2 screenplays 'Wallbrothas' and 'The Night', each screenplay I submitted 'The Night' in KaosFilms short screenplay competition unfortunately, I went no further than the quarter-finals but it was definitely positive experience. I was hired by BBC Radio 1xtra to review Die Hard 4.0 to which I was invited to attend the Leicester Square Odeon. From that point, I have written reviews every week some have been published on Helium.com where I have also posted articles such as “Tip on a first date” and “ Ways to reduce Cellulite”. |
