This role combined project management and information architecture of interactive intranet. It was also involved with the project at all stages; including working with stakeholders to scope and present project proposals, agreeing on style sheets and negotiating the operational procedures.
I was working with teams including developers, programmers, designers and content authors to deliver the project - managing their expectations and anticipating project risks.
I liaised mainly with the information director to capture all the business objectives for the site. Bringing to the project; usability, accessibility and user-centred design knowledge and ensured that business processes were modelled efficiently and supported the project's goals.
I also produced a structure for the intranet that encompassed all the client requirements as well as providing a suitable model of the interface for the user.
The methods here employed to develop the site's structure and functionality included; sitemaps, wire frames, prototypes, and process diagrams. Including key word functionality, search positioning, metadata, meta noise and folksonomy

This included content development, accessibility and usability. I ensured that the site was fully consistent with the business’ overall channel plan and segmented-based marketing plans.
Managed the development and roll out of related enhancements including the co-ordination of testing and user acceptance. I was the main point of contact for all website related issues, and provide design material, training and support, producing end-user document material, first line support and update and maintain the web content.

Here I designed and implemented a new MOD Film locations web site, which included the design and coding of the pages to meet the marketing and taxonomy needs. Also I was the technical liaison with the staff to ensure the editorial integrity and security of the site.
The primary mandate of this role was to create a site that was a single, more efficient information infrastructure that was easy and satisfying for the target audience to use, that also met the objectives of the business, within the operational and technical constraints. I was responsible for capturing business and user requirements and designing solutions using standard documentation.

Took an active lead in the development of the web services for the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and created a strategy for a Content migration project. Responsible for reassembling the website and ensuring that content would fit correctly into the new architecture and would be editorially available.

This role Involved with daily Liaison with ITV Press, ITV Marketing, ITV Scheduling, ITV Corporate, external production companies and ITV Online service partners to generate editorial for itv.com homepage, soaps, sports, listings, weather, TV guide and entertainment and develop editorial schedules 10 days in advance
