Strategist & Industrial Design Engineer at Pearson Matthews, London, UK. PM is a reputed innovation consultancy, specialised in the healthcare industry. PM uniquely covers the entire innovation journey from strategy determination via extensive R&D and design through to manufacturing. My role is strategy determination, project management, design and engineering. Being multi-lingual, I also play an important role in international account management.

Daughter enterprise of the Dutch national institute of technology (TNO) and is specialized in speech technology products
and services. My role was to lead user research, design products and services, find customers and manage a team of up to 10 people to realise the development. In 2007 my main project was accountable for a quarter of the company’s turnover (1m). My design for a parking service is now operational in the UK and will soon be launched in Germany and the US.

My main task was to research usability aspects of client’s speech technology products and propose innovations.
I also took an active part in marketing, strategy determination and project acquisition
of the newly founded daughter enterprise of Dutchear and started creating my own team to accomplish projects.

I designed and developed the “V-beat Airdrums”, a stand-alone virtual drumming toy. China’s largest toy manufacturer (Silverlit) is producing it at the moment. My design will be in stores worldwide by June this year. I was also the company’s first designer and helped setting up the company’s product development procedures and infrastructure.
