CV

I am also experienced in System design from requirements capture, yourdon structured analysis, OOA and process specification. My portfolio has involved 'hands on' Design, software Implementation and Testing. I have also taken leadership roles on projects involving technical and man-management responsibilities.

• System & Software Test.

A significant proportion of my career has been spent in Software integration and test. The test activities have spanned manual User focused testing and automated script based testing of Telecommunications protocols such as Tetra, GSM and 3G.

Test activities have involved defining and writing test specifications, test plans and regression test strategies. Technical liaison with developers has led to detailed problem solving in Real-time Mobile and Terrestrial telecommunications environments.

Also has Conformance/regulatory testing experience in the Tetra, GSM, 3G and Bluetooth telecommunications protocols. Integration activities have also led to practical field-testing of Mobiles and the resolution of coverage and mobility issues. I have led a set of testers testing functions on the Ericsson AXE telephone exchange.

• Systems / Requirements Analysis and Design.

I have played key roles in the design of several large systems including The London Underground Jubilee Line train Signalling system. Major clients in this work include Motorola, GEC-Marconi, Westinghouse Signals Ltd, Northern Telecom and Ericsson.

Methodologies such as Yourdon SA/SD, Shlaer Mellor OOA/OOD, SDL/SDT and the RTM requirements capture tool were applied as necessary in these projects.

• System Implementation and Support.

I have used languages such as C, Pascal, SDL/SDT and SL-1 in implementing functions that he has designed. Two years of his career has been in Software field support, introducing new system features to customers in a front-line customer facing role.
