• Responsible for the running of the Project Office for the UK Online Project Team; a team designing the e-Government web portal as part of the government's drive to provide electronic services to the UK population. Responsibilities included:
* Office Administration – Responsible for QA of all documents supplied to the customer, designing office procedure flowcharts using Visio and updating project plans using MS Project.
* Database Management – Designed and built multi-user relational databases using MS Access to monitor all documents, a team contacts directory, a risk register and a change request inventory.
* Systems & Network Administration for PC’s and LAN – Installed and configured desktop PC’s using Windows NT 4.0 (SP 6) and MS Office 2000, the Server using Windows NT 4.0 BackOffice, Arcserve 6.5 backup and restore solution, and the Remote Access Server.
* Web Site Administration – Designed and built an intranet web site to keep the client abreast of the latest developments within the UK Online project facilitated by Dial-In access.
* Managed the full service Acceptance Testing for the Government Intranet Hosting Service (GIHS).
* Part of the Technical Design team delivering the Small Business Services portal. Responsible for designing and implementing the LAN, with remote dial-in using SecurID for the Development & Testing teams, the Fault Reporting and Document Management databases using MS Access and Fault Co-ordination.

* Automation of report production processes using pass through queries and creation of macros to automate updating from downloaded spreadsheets and pass through queries.
* Writing of European Consolidated database and O & S Portfolio Review User Guides detailing how to produce reports from the beginning and how to modify the macro’s in Visual Basic should the need arise.
