o I am employed as the Project Manager to undertake the implementation and assist with the design of the following project: The Network Rail 10 main line Station CCTV upgrade, consisting of 10 main line London Stations, BTP main control rooms, MICC 54 The Broadway and MI5 building. The project consists of over renewing 2,500 cameras and digital recording medium a high speed fibre link upgrade across London. At present this project is running to time and on budget. [£11 million]. Completion June/July 2005

2004 [6 months]

Siemens Building Technologies

o I was requested to assist in the design and implementation and commissioning of an Access system at the Coca Cola plant in Southern Ireland [£0.75million]

2001 - 2004

ADT Rail

o I joined ADT Rail as one of the original team of three people who started this division as a trouble shooter/Project Manager. My back ground was to cover all aspects from Station Comms design to administration and project implementation, with contracts for the upgrade of Comms equipment for the London Underground/Infraco stations. [In excess of £20 million]

o While running the above I also managed small fire installation works London Underground Ltd. [£2 million]

o In 2003 I formed a sub division to oversee Project Management and Design of Overground Rail projects. [£5 million]

1998 - 2001

Orbis/Tyco Integrated Systems

[Sub-contractor]

o At this time I was involved in a worldwide security network project as a subcontractor involved in the installation, commissioning and on site Project Management of a CCTV, Access Control and BMS Project for Fibre Optic Network Stations across France and the USA. [£1.75 million]

o I also was involved on a project working with a joint London Underground and British Transport Police installing CCTV control rooms and CCTV cameras on 60 plus LUL car parks as a project engineer. [£1 million]

o Over a year as an on Site Project Manager and trouble shooter on a Prison Project in Southern Ireland overseeing the installation of CCTV, Access control, BMS System and Control room installation etc, supported by a work force of forty security contractors and dealing closely with government officials and building contractors on a day to day basis. Organising and implementing a training program for Prison staff on touch screen technology etc. [£1.5 million]

o A year an on site as a Project Site Manager at the FSA building in Canary Wharf overseeing the installation of CCTV, BMS System and Control room etc.

This involved dealing with customer needs, building contractors and the government security department (SSG).

Organising and implementing a training program for the customer and security staff. [£900,000]

o There were various other large and medium projects that I was involved in as a Project Site Manager.

1997 - 1998

Atech Security Systems

I was employed as a Field Sales Consultant with responsibilities for sales and design of large to medium CCTV /Access Control and Intruder applications, including product purchasing and customer liaison.

I took this job in sales to enable me to widen my knowledge in the security industry.

1997 - 1994

I supplied sub contract labour for planning, programming, commissioning and technical troubleshooting.

1994 - 1983

Construction & Leisure Industry

During this period I was a Partner in a Wine Bar Restaurant. My duties were to run the every day running of the business including purchasing and accounts. I also held the drinking and dancing licence. During the day I ran a small building company. [£100]

1983 - 1972

Group 4 Total Security

o I started at Group 4 as an install engineer when they started their company in the UK, although a young organisation I grew with the company and enjoyed its technical expertise within the industry.

o After a period of time I took the post of Chief Communications Engineer assisting in the setting up and running of their nation wide alarm monitoring network.

o Then was offered Banks & Major Accounts manager, where I was responsible for sales and design of high security projects.

o Finally I moved over to Systems Performance Engineer, where I was responsible for sorting out queries and complaints due to quotation and install problems this enabled me to meet customers and help resolve these problems, this job I found suited my temperament.

1972 - 1968

British Rail Signal & Telecommunications.

o I joined British Rail when I left school as it offered the technical career that I intended to pursue. The job enabled me to be involved in electro-mechanical installations and service.

o Upon completion of my apprenticeship I became a Technician Class 5 leading to Technician Class 1 when I left.
