Resourced 14 Designers and 7 CAE workstations, produced project proposals and workload estimates, design layouts and detailing of complex electro-mechanical components/assemblies for projects including; tank-mounted thermal imaging sight, rugged military laptop, digital switching systems and a drug "sniffing" sensor. Also integrated a microfilm scanner into the Design Office; created operational procedures and wrote scripts to record and register all drawings scanned from holerith details. This resulted in the electronic capture of legacy drawings and vacated valuable office space through the removal of manual drawings file storage.

Led a team of electro-mechanical engineers designing Osiris sighting system and gunner's monitor for Tiger helicopter. Created design specifications and layouts, liased with sub-contractors and French customer and generated drawings for complex components and assemblies. Utilised Finite Element Modelling & Analysis tools to optimise design solutions, which achieved stringent mass and inertia constraints, resulting in £0.5M bonus award to Marconi.
