Ten years experience working at Thompson Valves in various departments within the machine shop environment producing high-tolerance precision products for clients such as the Arianne space project. My job involved programming conversational CNC lathes in Fanuc, manual milling and turning. In addition I was also a deputy cell-leader, supervising a team of 5 engineers, ensuring that targets and time-frames were met.

My role involves working in an office environment producing CNC Laser Programmes for sheet metal products, quotes and route sheets. Work is predominately for a sub-contract clientele and often involves producing bespoke programmes. I am familiar with Radan, Bysoft and auto cad all of which are used on a daily basis.
