Prime Responsibilities.
The rapid response to, and diagnosis of faults reported by customers on critical end of line inspection equipment including X-Ray, metal detectors, checkweighers and MIACS. Keeping production down time to a minimum by the fast and efficient diagnosis and repair of their equipment. Also responsible for the on site up-grading of older machines and the commissioning of new ones, providing all forms of training from basic operation to in depth engineer level. Excellent communicative skills help to reassure often-anxious customers and smooth out sometimes heated and tricky situations. The ability to think on his feet and work autonomously making the appropriate decisions means very little head office support is required. After only six months was given responsibility for the single biggest contract cintex hold that of Allied Bakeries UK. This entails being the customers' first point of contact for all enquiries via telephone or a dedicated pager. Providing a 6-hour response for breakdowns and managing major projects liasing with Allied representatives from the CEO downwards. He has proved himself invaluable to Allied during the installation and implementation of a complete critical control point accounting network (BIS) He is now one of only two people in the whole of Cintex and Allied able to maintain the system and give technical support too all Allieds' UK operations. The work includes both electronic and mechanical engineering as well as IT and networking skills, utilising PLC's and the full range of CRETE.
Achievements.
Having been in employment with Cintex for only a short time he is already fully qualified on all Cintex equipment and products, and has established himself as a valuable and trusted member of the service department. Often used for high profile jobs and situations where the other engineers have been unable to resolve a customers problems or where a level of diplomacy is required.
1999-2001 , DCSA STVINCENT Communications Engineer, IT Manager/Security Officer.
Prime Responsibilities.
Engineering and maintaining military voice and data communications circuits. Taking any necessary action to ensure good communications on a global scale. Working within NATO standard timings for the establishment and restoration of communications circuits including the nuclear firing chain. Timings vary but are typically measured in minutes. Utilising Cornet matrix switches, SUN Solaris KSX, TANDEM, CRETE, Timeplex Link/2+ facilities management system, DPSN, TDM, CDM, AM and FM modulation, LAN and WAN, to provide the first and only line of support to all British military units world wide using communications in the VLF to SHF frequency range.
Responsible for all aspects of IT department management and security, system and network design, installation, engineering and administration, fault finding, maintenance and media and supply control, and the management of the department budget.
Achievements.
Consistently achieved a high standard of work in both fields. Helped to rationalise the working practices within the establishment.

Section Overview.
The section encompasses equipment to intercept and direction find enemy RADAR transmissions. Electronic jamming equipment and CHAFF launchers. These are a mix of Electronic, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic systems.
Prime Responsibilities.
Had responsibility for the entire section including equipment to a value of £8.5 Million and up to 20 personnel. Taking charge of the planning, performing, and supervision of maintenance, equipment installation and the management of the section. To ensure the efficient day to day operation of all the equipment and to provide rapid fault diagnosis and repair.
Achievements.
Successfully covering the remit of a person two ranks higher than himself on a high profile warship while consistently achieving a very high standard of performance. Decorated twice receiving the NATO medal for Kosovo and the General Service Medal for Air Operations Iraq.
