Training of Repair Technicians for Amstrad Digital Satellite Decoder and Emailer to enable faultfinding and repair to surface mount component level. Designed various stand-alone Jigs for testing faulty equipment and for final test.

The post also required the training of personnel, close supervision of contracts, and design staff to ensure the design of new and special to type test sets, conducting internal systems audits to ISO9001, AQAP4, and liaison with customers regarding equipment training. Designed a Gun Bore Wear Measurement system for 25 and 27mm Cannon based around 80C32 micro for RAF ground crew, from design brief through to production unit. Production of new circuits for equipment upgrades. Designed an Angler's Fish Bite indicator and was granted a Patent for the design.
