PM/DM on Education City in Doha, Qatar, £5 billion,

10 sq km project for The Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development under the auspices of Sheika Mozah Bint Nassar al Misnad. Responsible for three projects with a combined value of some £ 180 m, the Central University Library (Approx 400,000 sq ft), the Georgetown University School of Foreign Services, and the University Staff Faculty building, located within an 18 hole golf course. Working with a range of signature designers Rem Koolhaus, Legorretta and Legorretta, IM Pei, Michael Graves, Foster and Partners and range of executive architects including Leigh and Orange and Perkins and Will. Incorporating a range of on site Qatari Heritage Buildings into the project. . Ran the Conceptual Planning of the University Central Library, the Georgetown University School of Foreign Services and the University Staff Faculty building. With Qatar Petroleum the Client agents Senior Advisor on Master Planning, Spatial Planning and the Introduction of the robotic People Mover on the University Campus.

National Programme Manager for the £1billion PFI/PPP NHS healthcare roll out, for the privatization of the sterilization services for medical instruments and associated procurement of some £500 m of property. This is a 12/15-yr. programme covering all facilities in the UK

Consultancy Snr PM for Paddington Station refurbishment and expansion, liaison with Rail track management and overall design coordination in association with Nicolas Grimshaw .Working in the City of London office as bid manager for The Victoria and Albert Museum Galleries, the Port Greenwich Scheme, The Tower of London Environs Scheme, Manchester Bomb damage, the Arts Council Lottery Funded Projects, the Royal Arsenal Woolwich, the National Portrait Gallery Extension, and the Dutch High Speed Rail link and various MOD projects.

In the Far East (Hong Kong) acting as the Senior Project Manager on the Central Section of the HK$ 3 Billion West Rail Project. Control, management and liaison with the team of Terry Farrell Ptnrs Arch’s, Ove Arup, RUST Asia, and Widnells on the futuristic Tsuen Wan and Mei Foo Stations. External liaison with Bechtel (KCRC) and MTRC on the overall progress of the project. Direct liaison with Government at Ministerial level .The work involved corporate management of the design work, management of work on site, advice on cost in use, asset management and consultancy advice to the client The project involved very extensive, high quality, high rise, (27 storey) residential, commercial and retail developments as well as above and below ground excavations on reclaimed land. Cut/cover, tunnelling, numerous ancillary structures using Design and Build, Construction Management and conventional Procurement routes.

The role was both in acting on behalf of BAA as landlord, with my design team undertaking £30 m enabling works, and as the Client on the BA element of a JV. The team carried out VE/VM studies
