CV

Professional Construction and Project Management consultancy based in West Cumbria. Key staff are primarily committed team members who have been frequently called upon to act independently, as a result they are well used to working with little or no supervision and enjoy doing so.We have been responsible for the administration and management of varying numbers of personnel, specialist suppliers and sub-contractors both on and off-site. This has included the provision of motivation and leadership on time crucial projects and involvement in the development and control of design and quality assurance. In addition, we have played a key role in the development and maintenance of both on-site Health and Safety Plans and Environmental Plans. Some of the personal qualities upon which our staff have relied are reliability, confidence, loyalty and commitment to tasks. We have extensive experience in the underground rail environment having spent nearly three years working on LUL projects in London.
In addition to our general building experience, we have developed key skillsets in the management of site set-up, infrastructure groundworks and drainage, temporary and permanent road works. This experience has been gained in a variety of project situations including social housing refurbishment, new build schools, new build community centres, new build low rise housing, both new build and refurbishment of railway stations, large scale civil engineering projects and infrastructure.
Pro-active in mentoring and developing relationships between industry and London South Bank University, we are supporters of the Construction Knowledge Exchange, which encourages inter-action between leading construction companies and a number of London Universities. We recognise the importance of fostering improved levels of communication in order to enhance the employability and development of students and graduates. As keen exponents of Continuous Professional Development we encourage others to develop their professional abilities and standards through professional accreditation.
