Specialist Knowledge
I have good technical knowledge on the whole area of pensions, taxation and trusts, courtesy of AFPC study. I have proven my ability to apply my knowledge, by obtaining the Certified Financial Planner licence. I intend to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status by the end of 2007, via examination. These are areas I would like to more fully utilise. I have much experience of the IFA market. I keep up to date with financial publications, and keep widely read on the industry as a whole.

Skills and Abilities
I have excellent inter-personal skills, being able to converse with people at all levels, including High Net Worth. My knowledge, linked with an amiable personality enable me to build excellent client relationships. I am able to work autonomously but I am equally at home in a group.



Computer Skills
I have used most of the industry-specific software, such as The Exchange, assureweb, Synaptics, 1st software and lender/insurance company specific websites and software. I am very computer literate, and have much experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database software. I regularly use the internet for research purposes.

• Responsibilities: To build business from scratch, providing financial planning or product sale, depending on client needs. Mixture of fee and commission-based, with a view to become purely fee-based.
• Skills needed: Interpersonal skills, ability to quickly build rapport with people I have never spoken to before, time-management skills
Achievements/Improvements made: From zero client base, I have established a fee income of £8000 per annum from one corporate client, which will increase over time, have one reliable introducer, and have made further connections which will be built upon over the coming months.
