Programme Office and Project Management where I oversee all GCUK commercial, enterprise and government projects to deliver £207m annual revenue, with a total contractual responsibility @ £1.1B. I managed 14 Senior Project Managers, 34 Project Managers, 4 Senior Programme Managers, 6 Project Coordinators and a programme office. I also ran a Field Operations organisation for EMEA; this was in excess of 250 engineers and 8 directors/senior managers responsible for the different units

Field Operations EMEA where I was responsible for 225 engineers across Europe for all provisioning and assurance activities supporting switch, satellite, transmission and data backbone service, associated with this team were 4 Directors and 4 Senior Managers running the field operations teams providing 24/7/365 assurance and delivery services

Test, build and Logistics EMEA, and Globally for Managed Services where I oversee the procurement, build and test of all network elements (Switch/Transmission/Power/Data) including the shipping globally and in EMEA, to include full return and repair (R&R), within this team there was 21 Engineers, 4 Managers and 1 Senior Manager providing 24/7/365 assurance and delivery services

Power, Build and Infrastructure services where I was responsible for all technical build, maintenance, assurance and proactive activities EMEA, also responsible for data centre scope, build and assurance, within this team there were 8 engineers, 3 managers and 1 director

Managed Services EMEA where I was responsible for a team of engineers to install managed/unmanaged routers into commercial, enterprise and government projects along with any moves, adds and changes (MAC’s), within this team there were 15 engineers, 1 manager and 1 senior manager

OSP where I oversee all outside plant build, projects and maintenance EMEA within this team were 12 staff, 5 managers and 1 senior manager

Access Provisioning where I oversee all access requirements UK, we called this Off-Net provisioning working directly with BT within this team was 10 engineers, 2 managers and 1 senior manager

On-Net Provisioning where I oversee all switch/core network provisioning EMEA within this team was 8 engineers and 1 manager

COS (Cost of Sale) where I was responsible for a total spend of £34m supporting the procurement, leasing and service support across all COS activities (normally equipment, port costs and MAC’s)

CAPEX where I was responsible for a capital spend budget of £37m for the entire operations organisation

OPEX where I was responsible for £19m for all staff costs and 3rd party maintenance services

Proactive and ad hoc reporting where I measured both internal and external quality of service, predominantly made up of assurance and delivery statistics extrapolated from the performance management systems, productivity reports produced on a per unit basis, and finance reporting “on-target” budget analysis supporting my organisation

3rd Party Maintenance EMEA where I was responsible for 161 vendors supporting my organisation, network and Customers, these line items were made up of fixed and variable contracts

Client Interface where I was responsible for all delivery and assurance senior management interfaces to Customers, chairing Performance Improvement meetings or Service Improvement reviews, along with general support for the factory in championing for GC Customers
