I trained in medicine, worked for 20 years as a doctor in both psychiatry and public health. I have managed a multi-professional team of over 80 people, including GPs, public health doctors, health promotion specialists, research and administrative staff.

I have been involved in the development of health care evaluation programmes, evaluating screening services, change management and professional development for doctors in public health.
