| Experience I started my career by working in Accounting and Business Development for the Finnish Savings Banks in 1971-1976. One of my assignments was to develop a computer aided planning methodology for the Finnish Savings banks, which was highly appreciated. I worked in Sweden as a consultant in Software Design from 1976 to 1982 in a small consultant company. I specialized in analysing and modelling of business processes and concepts to assist IT-specialists in Software development projects. I became one of the pioneers in this methodology in Sweden. I established my own business in 1982 and worked then 20 years as an independent Management and IT-consultant. I specialized in areas such as Business Process Development, Information Resource Management and Software Engineering. My customers were among the biggest Swedish corporations, such as Swedish Post, Ericsson and Saab, Pharmacia Corporation, Folksam, SPP/Alecta, Swedish Savings Banks, Stjärn-TV/UPC and so on. I helped my customers to define their strategic Business and IT-development plans. Through my work I got to understand business principles and concepts in various branches, such as Logistics, Banking, Insurance, Electronics, Pharmacy, Cable-TV-networks, almost no branch or business process neglected. Retiring from my business I retired from my own business early at the age of 55 years and have since 2004 been living in Mombasa, Kenya. I spend every year some months in Sweden and Finland to keep my language skills alive. Working as a Freelance translator My vision is to use now my wide experience as a Freelance translator. Finnish is my native language, but after having lived 30 years in Sweden I regard Swedish as my second native language. I am a citizen in both of these countries.
