Key achievements:
Pioneered in 1997 the first Online Travel Strategic Focus Group for IBM with Air France, Swiss Air, Rail Europe and Hertz Europe which resulted in the creation of “OTP- The online travel portal”- today OPODO.
Repositioned UK-INFO-DISK ltd, a suite of business information CDs into a single, web based and multi data rich product: 192.com, UK’s largest all in one Directory, Local Search and Social networking website with other 5 million members, winner of Website of the year 2006

In 1999, contributed to the £6M fund raising and developed the commercial activity of IGLU.COM, a specialist chalet hunter website yet to launch, bringing profitability in year one. Today IGLU is a small giant valued at £150 Million with the UK’s largest share of all ski holidays sold online and offline.

Initiated MTV’s world premiere video on demand for PC and Set top boxes with ASTRA Satellites. Trademarked “Entertainment on Demand”.

Re-launched the social networking site VIRTUALIBIZA.COM making it 2nlargest clubbing community in the UK. Initiated discussions for the sale of the business with MTV, Future Publishing. In the same arena, developed the commercial operations for PASSADO.COM, Spain’s largest social network.

In 2007: developed a successful viral pre-launch campaign aimed at corporate for CARPRICECHECKER, today’s UK’s leading price comparison site in automotive resulting in strategic partnership with GoCompare only 3 month after launch.

Launched 20 mini specialist betting sites in 10 different countries including Japan in less than 2 months including the now leading alonsoodds.com and cheltenhambetting.com

PR coups:

In 2004, contributed to the BBC ID checking special Panorama program, profiling 192.com, and resulting the following day in 20000 added visits and a monthly revenue increase of 50%.

In 2000, developed a PR plan with Agency Text100 for IGLU which resulted in Microsoft founder Bill Gates public endorsement of the site.

In 2001, negotiated and acquired for free the image rights of Zinedine Zidane and Madonna for free, arguing for the launch of Astra’s new satellite TV channel

In 2007, obtained the blog of the week mention in newspaper LeMonde for the betting odds coverage in the French Elections. On Election day the Blog received 10000 visits in a single day.
