The requirement for this role is to build and deploy a new MPLS network across various sites in the UK. The client is going through a substantial period of change as the current network heavily dependant on the parent company, which was di-vested. The project involved commission of new corporate head office with the deployment of Cisco call manager along with LAN infrastructure with the provisioning of new Internet connectivity and firewall platforms. Deployment of MRTG for LAN network monitoring and Orion NPM platform for WAN router monitoring and capacity management. Included within this project was the integration of a legacy IVR system which was primary to the client’s business activities. The legacy IVR was integrated into Cisco call manager which proved essential to helping the clients business move forward.

The requirement was to build document and support networks in the Test and Pre-Deployment stage for both Military and Commercial environments delivering solutions to over 300,000 end clients throughout the UK and Global operations.
