My area of specialism is in recruitment and retention, change management, leadership training and development. These are skills that I have learned over the years and honed in the training room, from the diverse nature of my career history and CPD. I am a qualified teacher and adult educator and have an absolute passion for learning and its transference. I keep abreast of development in my field and constantly strive to maintain a professional edge. The majority of organisations that I have represented have been fast paced, growth industries striving to compete in circumstances of change and development.

The company was set up in 1996 in response to the demand for training in the business sector, the remit was broadened to cover the three main sectors, Education, Business and Voluntary. I have run the business for 10 years and since inception it has had to metamorphose to survive. The initial workload was predominantly learning and development consultancy with large organisations, but this was then split with work in urban renewal, community organisations, and SME’s with the emphasis on training development during change and recruitment and retention. I am fully responsible for all aspects of the business from initial contact to final reporting of each project. I also maintain a highlevel of personal professional development throughout.

Before this, my experience was predominantly with larger organisations as a full time training manager specialising in design, delivery, evaluation and assessment of internal management and staff training programmes.

I have considerable know-how of communicating as a consultant within all levels of organisational types. I have mentored directors and managers with personal coaching and tailor made individual development programmes and I am confident in my knowledge of the field of human development.
