This client was struggling to maintain any kind of control over the amount and quality of information circulating. An information audit was carried out in order to assess the information needs of the company as expressed through the information needs of the employees.

This client was looking to promote effective use of the Internet amongst staff. A bespoke training programme was developed to ensure this. This programme focused on the sector the company was working in and the type of searches likely to be undertaken. The course covered a brief introduction to the internet, searching techniques, sources of information, evaluating information and a hands-on interactive workshop.

This client was particularly concerned with duplication of effort within key departments and the impact this was having on the profitability of the company. An audit was carried out across all departments on two separate sites and the recommendations were made.
