My business is split 50/50 between marketing project management and PR. I have carried out marketing projects for clients, including direct mailing and advertising campaigns, website desin & maintainence, marketing collateral production, re-branding, exhibition and event management, packaging, NPD,channel marketing & marketing audits.

• Effective use of Category management. ‘Home Safe and Sound’ merchandising has proven to give up to 30% sales increase due to trading up at point of purchase.
• Secured major sponsorship deal with the Duke of Edinburgh awards, which lead to an initial 35% increase in sales of selected outdoor equipment.
• Increased brand share in competitive sector for tents & sleeping bags from 2% to 16% in two years and still growing due to effective advertising and POS.
• After evaluation and research new adverts and media schedule have successfully been applied and tracked increasing telephone enquiries by 900% per month (Coleman brand).
• Relaunched two brands under threat from new competitors – Taymar (gas blow torches) & BRK through innovative packaging & POS the brands were re-established as category leaders.
• Launch new products and categories in Europe; generators, outdoor lighting & heating, carbon monoxide alarms
• Maintained high brand profile for Eastpak and Timberland luggagevia targeted advertising.
• Extreme sport event sponsorship and press events for Eastpak and Timberland secured coverage and increased sales in youth and fashion market
