My work history and experience is very varied in the field. My main strengths lying in the fact that I have set up and run several successful small businesses, this has given me a great wealth of experience in the world of start ups, and has allowed me to become familiar with the pitfalls and traps a lot of new start ups can find themselves in.
I also have a strong work history, including working at Enterprise Rent A Car on the management training scheme, working through this and then taking employment with Big Storage in a Business Development capacity, although I was also expected to aid with the running and overseeing of two large branches. This has given me a wealth of experience in business growth and development, and has given experience in a variety of marketing and development issues.
I have many strengths including analysing the market place for opportunities and identifying ways of exploiting it to aid in business growth, as well as utilising non direct methods, such as referral networking, strategic alliances etc

Lancaster/MorecambeAt Big Storage I was initially taken on to grow and increase the business within the branch, this was done via a large series of methods such as networking, cold calling, advertising in the local media, utilising referral marketing, strategic alliances and many more. It gave me great scope to use my innovative and entrepreneurial nature, meaning that I was able to identify new market segments and attack them as I saw fit to gain their business.
Alongside this I was also involved heavily with the running of the two branches, quickly moving up to being the most senior member of my two branches and overseeing the running of them, from chasing debtors and stock ordering, to managing displays and audits. I was also involved with training several new branch managers to get them up to speed as fast as possible to join new branches with this quickly expanding company.

Kendal/PrestonWorking on this scheme gave me a great introduction into a larger business and its workings. The role provided experience in direct selling, ancillary sales, as well as marketing, cold calling, and account maintenance, all with a view to growing business.
As well as the sales side I also got a large amount of experience in customer satisfaction, chasing debtors and payments, invoicing, and a lot of operations management.
Professional Qualifications
Ihave had the opportunity to gain a large variety of sales and operations training during my roles. As well as this I spend a lot of time taking extra courses to support my consultancy, these include courses in marketing, time and work regulations, business start up and financing. These are all ongoing courses taken in support of consultancy work and are always being expanded and built upon.
