My main activities include: Writing, editing and proof reading articles,brochures,letters, newsletters, press releases,reports, website copy and feature stories.

I was Responsible for preparing proposals and negotiating with offerring agencies as well as particularly, small to medium size companies, opportunities for staff training leading to national qualifications in a variety of disciplines.

Apart from advising on the editorial agenda, I was responsible for national and international advertising sales for the Commonwealth Broadcaster (quarterly magazine) and the Commonwealth Broadcaster- Annual Handbook, two publications of the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association, CBA.

I set publicity goals, planned, executed, managed and analysed publicity campaigns, events and projects for government ministries, departments, public corporations and companies. I established and for four years directed the publication of and edited the GIS - a government monthly. I conducted group presentations on a variety of issues on behalf government, public and private sector corporations. I planned and successfully executed up to year-long promotions and campaigns. These included anniversary celebrations for among others government agencies, retail, utility and financial service companies.
I was also the country’s representative on the Caribbean Community Conference of Ministers of Information.

As CEO, I directed the buying and scheduling of media, planned and managed media campaigns, special promotions and sponsorships for a range of clients. I also wrote press releases, and produced promotional material as well as special features (infomercials) for a variety of private and public sector organizations.

I wrote reports and articles and covered a wide range of events and issues including disaster, education, politics, the environment, and tourism for CANA as well as other regional and international media. I have covered hurricanes like Hugo in 1989, Louis in1995 and volcanic activity (1995) on the island of Montserrat, http://www.2doubleu.net/wrreports.html .On assignment for various news agencies including Reuters, AP, the BBC and VOA, I have written country reports dealing with issues covering from the economy and infrastructure to education, health and sports.

I managed the company’s broadcast operations including on air and auxiliary staff, sales and news sections. As sales director I managed a field sales team and constantly achieved targets set by the Board. In my role as head of news and current affairs I set and achieved a goal to be first with the news, ahead of around another 15 broadcast facilities reaching the primary and secondary coverage area of the station. In programming I introduced a variety of programmes which, among other areas reflected socio-economic development, education, culture and music of the region.

After eleven years as manager of the government broadcasting service, during which HM Queen awarded me with an MBE ‘for the development of broadcasting and information in the British Overseas Territory, I was appointed Chief Information Officer. I built and managed the country’s first Government Information Service. I developed the government’s public and media relations policy, planned, designed and managed campaigns for the promotion of government policies, projects and programmes.
