EMEA sales leadership, country deployment, SLA process, full budget management and eventual infrastructure outsourcing.
Achievements: 50% saving via infrastructure outsourcing with zero disruption to service, high internal/external customer satisfaction, data quality < 99%, 100% user increase, 1st viable Marketing ROI tool measuring < 10M annual marketing spend with daily product, store level customer data
● UK Consumer Business Development Manager 2002 - 2003
Responsibilities: CEO level engagement of targeted new customers in the retail consumer channel.
Development of unique partnership propositions relating to Product assortment / product positioning and marketing to widen HP distribution and leadership in new strategic channels, primarily mass merchant and photography. Market appraisal / sizing, competitive analysis and GTM sales and marketing strategy development.
Achievements: Led Tesco UK into consumer IT category via WW Non-Food Purchasing Director partnership, led store re-design and execution across 100 Tesco Extra formats. Tesco today rank as a top 5 retailer within this category (source: GFK 2007) and account for < 25% of HP’s supplies business and <5% of hardware. Secured category captaincy for HP. ● UK Channel & Trade Marketing Manager 2001-2002
Responsibilities: Leadership of customer marketing and buyer relationships, development of key consumer retail partners to widen distribution and take share. Leadership of product marketing strategy and execution, marketing mix, range and assortment planning, tactical marketing team input and new business development. Management of 2-4M annual BTL marketing spend.
Achievements: Winner of Comet Supplier of Year Award for in-store initiatives. Secured partnership study with DSG Int. on Behaviour vs Response leading to ‘solution merchandising’ being introduced to all stores Nationwide. UK roll-out of eSMART ePOS system via UK sales. Responsibilities: Manage all retail in-store activity across 4000 specialist and mass merchant retail outlets. Including field team management for product training, merchandising, POS and marcom placement, promotional calendar management, seasonal promo execution.
