• 10+ years IT and Business experience gained in leading financial information solutions organisations. SME in credit card and retail card processing. Strong value chain experience.

• Customer facing roles undertaken as Project Manager, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst and product development roles.

• In depth knowledge of the strategic account processing platform BASE 2000, Visionplus account processing platform and Cardpac, all of which run on IBM mainframe platform. These systems enable to process bankcard, private label and loans accounts.

• Full project lifecycle knowledge (V-model).

• Experience of OS/390 mainframe environment, using licenced tools such as TSO, fileaid, CA7, DB2.

• Implementation of new Credit Cards for Thomas Cook and Argos including new Loan product as part of joint ventures by rationalising the systems, to one core platform - VisionPLUS.
• Responsible for working on Exceptions transactions processing i.e. chargebacks including: scheme compliance, claims and settlements. E2E process implemented for Section 75.
• Responsible for testing MI feeds from GUI front end and mainframe interfaces.
• Responsible for BACS certification and Payments E2E testing. Assisting with GL reconciliation.
• Responsible for working with key personnel across both the project teams and with new partnerships team to ensure concise process engineering has been documented correctly.

• DB2 upgrade from version 6 to version 7. Tasks included testing of pre and post upgrade systems to ensure functionality not affected by software upgrade.
• Full project lifecycle involvement on ATM (LINK) cash advance service for DUET cardholders. Tasks included initial gathering of business requirements, functional specification writing, test phases (test scripting and planning, test execution, system test sign-off, UAT support), implementation planning and post implementation support.
• Payment schemes compliance projects. Bi-annual mandatory enhancements from Mastercard and VISA on client Bankcard systems. Tasks included requirements analysis, full test documentation (scripts, plans, status reporting), defect management, simulator software upgrades through to client sign-off, implementation and post implementation support.
• Performed full project life-cycle activities related to enhancements to card and PIN production process in conjunction with 3rd party supplier e.g. requirements gathering, process re-engineering, UAT planning, implementation planning.
• Travel to Atlanta, Amsterdam and client sites in Leeds, Nottingham and Birmingham. Occasional days working from home.
