I am a self employed consultant I advise small businesses on all personnel issues, all aspects of employment law including discipline and grievance, redundancy, restructuring, recruitment and selection and staff and management development. I design and supply all personnel documentation from application forms to contracts of employment. I am an approved Food Hygiene trainer (CIEH). I am a management trainer I design and deliver soft skills courses e.g. Assertiveness, Leadership skills and Motivation.

My responsibilities included Management Development, Recruitment and Selection of junior managers, Employee Relations, Health and Safety, ensuring that all aspects of employment Law is adhered to and Advisor to the Management team. I was responsible for the payroll budget.

As HR Manager I was responsible for the HR function at the store, this included liaising with the Store Manager to develop the store business strategy, Management Development, Recruitment and Selection ,Retention, Employee Relations, Health and Safety, ensuring that all aspects of Employment Law is adhered to and Advisor to the management team.
My responsibilities also included ensuring that the wage plan is kept within the set budget and forecasting store sales.
My key performance indicators for my process were absence, labour turnover and management of long term sickness. These I achieved.
I was also a Duty Manager looking after the store, staff and customers on a schedule with the management team.
