Duties and responsibilities

• Project Manager within a multi-disciplinary role
• Designing the drainage for large complexes such as, Halewood Leisure centre, King George V, Sports Complex, BICC Redevelopment and Q.V.C
• Experience in developers drawings in connection with 104 adoption procedures
• Checking of all 104 agreement drawings for the Prescot Retail Park Development.
• WINDES and WINDAP trained.
• Experience in public and residential schemes such as Car Parking and access, off street parking, fencing, Pelican and pedestrian crossings.
• Gained knowledge of buildings construction and materials
• Experience in the construction of small Highway and footpath schemes
• Experienced user of ACAD (Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD)
• Experience and thorough knowledge of internal drainage systems for housing layouts
• Liaise effectively with architects and other engineers

Drainage area study - St Kevins Development. - Project cost - £500,000

• Analyse large sites for the inclusion of drainage schemes
• Design and present a suitable and acceptable drainage solution for a five phase housing development
• Carry out a detailed study in storm water design
• Ability to fully utilise WINDES and WINDAP (Micro Drainage
• Various meetings with internal professional disciplines
• Liaise with outside bodies such as The Environmental Agency and United Utilities.

Drainage area study - Overbrook Lane Development. - Project cost - £300,000

• Design a suitable drainage system for this site incorporating proposed light industrial units.
• Drainage design using WINDAP (Micro Drainage)and the full use of Acad.
• Preparation of all contract drawing which also included drawings for the section 104 agreements.
• All necessary paperwork and lettering was completed.
• Meetings with United Utilities and other outside bodies

B.I.C.C Redevelopment. - Project cost - £5,000,000

• Footpath and associated works

Main responsibilities
• Complete drainage design for the site
• Preparation of contract documents and contract drawings
• Full drainage design utilising WINDAP (Micro Drainage)
• Preparation of Section 104 drainage drawings for compliance with United Utilities Sewers (Adoption process)
• Working closely with the Environmental Agency and United Utilities

Q.V.C - Project cost - £400,000

• Design of foul and surface water sewers
• Preparation of contract dwgs, bill of quantities etc

North West Water Pollution Scheme

Objective – to clean up rivers in Knowsley and surrounding area’s.

• Supervising Engineer for large scale Pollution Surveys
• Led a small team of technicians including 2 no site teams from D.S.O
• Liaise closely with National Rivers Authority and North West Water Ltd
• Extensive house to house surveys including thousands of premises.
