I am freelancing for the BBC and AP. I have strong broadcasting, presenting and television scriptwriting skills. I am capable of producing high quality television packages and programmes with experience and proficiency in ENPS, Jupiter and Avid Xpress Pro editing programmes. I am a trained Panasonic DVX30/DVX100 camera operator. I have good knowledge of QuickTime, Windows Media Player and Sorenson Squeeze software.

Possessing a clear voice for radio, I am proficient in writing, presenting and producing news bulletins and packages. I am experienced in driving a radio desk and working in a team. Accustomed to IRN news wires, I am confident using Robert, BCX/Brian and Adobe Audition audio editing software. I have a professionally trained voice for radio, and through my versatility I have voiced radio and voiceover projects.

My writing style is light and forthcoming. I have appropriate skills in newsgathering; sourcing and researching material; sub-editing and compiling briefs. With a flair for language, I am also familiar with the layout software, Adobe Indesign. I have working experience on the foreign desk at The Independent.

I can upload and edit material online, as well as research and gather news sources on the internet. I have my own site, featuring online and print articles, as well as samples of my broadcasting work.

I have solid knowledge of international and media law, as well as a good grounding in international politics and ethics. Having trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, I have thorough knowledge of the performaing arts, as well as Arts history and theory.
